Parfums Christian Dior now offers a new virtual makeup testing service using augmented reality (AR) during remote consultations.
This collaboration with Perfect Corp. marks the 6th Beauty Tech solution developed together. By combining Perfect Corp's virtual makeup testing technology with Bambuser's live shopping technology, Parfums Christian Dior presents an online consultation service integrated into the makeup purchasing journey.

Live Skin Analysis with AI Skin Diagnostic
Visitors were impressed by how the AI-powered real-time skin analysis solution now includes live camera detection for enhanced interactivity.
Verified by dermatologists, this solution scans the user's face in real-time, identifies skin issues, and smoothly overlays an AR visualization directly onto the user's face.
This feature ensures a more comfortable and interactive skincare shopping experience, and can be analyzed with real-time mode or via photos.
Fashion Tech in AR: Practical Solutions for Jewelry
During Viva Technology, we unveiled our Ring & Wrist sizers, addressing a common hurdle in online jewelry purchases: ensuring the correct size for bracelets, watches, or rings. Buying jewelry online can often lead to disappointment and subsequent returns or exchanges.
Ring Sizer
Perfect Corp.'s Ring Sizer enables easy measurement of ring size in a matter of seconds. By activating the tool and placing your fingers on your smartphone, you can measure the width of each finger. This practical and accessible solution allows buyers to determine their ring size online, no matter where they are.
Furthermore, our Ring Sizer also exists in an automatic measurement version, leveraging our expertise in measuring the pupillary distance (PD) to determine the correct ring size automatically.
Wrist Sizer
Additionally, at Viva Technology 2023, we presented our latest solution, the Wrist Sizer, which simplifies the online purchase of bracelets and watches.
No more struggling with different size charts offered by e-retailers; simply use your smartphone's camera to determine your wrist size.
Combined with our virtual try-on technology in AR, our new Ring & Wrist Sizers provide a realistic and personalized preview of how jewelry or watches will look on you. These visually precise and reassuring technologies increase consumer confidence in their purchases, reducing costly returns or exchanges for e-commerce companies.
2D to 3D
Moreover, virtual try-on technologies for jewelry become even more accessible to brands through our brand-new 2D to 3D solution, which generates 3D jewelry renderings from 2D images.
Multi-Stacking
We also showcased a glimpse of our multi-stacking capabilities, enabling users to virtually try on multiple references simultaneously in one or more product categories – such as jewelry and makeup, watches and bracelets, or multiple rings at once.
We provided a sneak peek at our booth during Viva Technology 2023 and look forward to announcing the official launch of these solutions later in 2023.
AI-Generated Content Takes the Fashion Industry by Storm
At Viva Technology 2023, we presented two new Fashion Tech solutions that garnered significant interest from visitors:
- AI-Generated Fashion Style: This solution generates multiple versions of an image by altering the hairstyle, clothing, and background style.
- AI-Generated Clothes Try-On: Using a reference image, this solution recreates similar clothing styles for experimental virtual try-on.
More Virtual Try-Ons!
Perfect Corp. takes virtual beauty try-on customization to the next level. We showcased our new ability to provide virtual try-on for lips, combining different SKUs in a single try-on. The same goes for eyeshadows and eyeliners, enabling users to create even more precise looks worthy of a makeup artist!
VivaTech also served as an opportunity to mention the arrival of new textures for virtual nail polish try-on and the release of our virtual try-on solution for artificial nails.
